Habits of the individual influence in the trend of weight loss

Certain behavior of individual indicates their behavioral style of eating such as eating while reading, eating the minute you come in the house, eating when the kids are back from the school or eating while cooking a dinner. It is also find out that situations and circumstances cause us to eat even if we are not feeling hungry such as in the case of anger, boredom, fatigue, happiness or loneliness all this may trigger an eating response.

- Eating three meals a day and in between have two or three snack meal
- Making a habit of eating slow and take a gap between each bite
- Choosing an eating place in your home or office and it should not be changed.
- While eating not to indulge in any other activity
- Stop eating junk food

Other behavior modification techniques that are not related to eating are substitute to eating which means activity between meal snacking. One should try to change the habit of going to another room of the house instead of going to the kitchen and this can be done by substitute activities such as going for a walk, reading a book or involved you with a friend

Other hobbies include which will divert your mind from previous habits are:

- Painting
- Cross-stitching
- Ceramics
- Gardening
- Surfing on the web
